Vicente Mejia is a photographer based in New York City. Born in the Dominican Republic, Drawing inspiration from the vibrant culture and rich history of his homeland, through his photography, he aims to showcase the diverse experiences of the Dominican community and to give a voice to those who may not have had the opportunity to share their stories, including those in the Dominican diaspora and the immigrant diaspora as a whole.
